5 THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS WITH PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS:

1. Think high-perceived value. For example, a t-shirt has a high-perceived value. People will wear a free t-shirt with your logo so your cost per exposure is relatively small. THINK walking billboard.

2. Distribute in a memorable way. Don't just hand out a pen or a t-shirt. Deliver it in a memorable way such as using special packaging. Be sure that your logo is in a prominent place. Most guys wear baseball caps. Give them out at the local little league ball games where you sponsor the day. Another walking billboard!

3. Pick a unique item that fits the season whether it's the time of year or an annual event. For example, beach towels are best received in the Spring and Summer.

4. Remember it doesn't have to be expensive but it does have to be effective and have high-perceived value. Therefore, choose something that they would like to have and use.
